THE LIVING END RETURN TO THE U.S.
ON THE ‘AUSTRALIAN INVASION TOUR’ WITH THE VINES AND JET;
NEW ALBUM ‘MODERN ARTillery’ OUT MARCH 2;
FIRST SINGLE “WHO’S GONNA SAVE US?” IS #1 MOST ADDED AT RADIO
THE LIVING END will storm through the U.S. on the Australian Invasion Tour with The Vines and Jet in connection with the March 2 release of their new album MODERN ARTillery (Reprise). This one-month trek launches March 11 in Houston and will be preceded by a week of West Coast headlining club dates with Maxeen and Jackson supporting.
MODERN ARTillery’s first single and video “Who’s Gonna Save Us”–a vigorous and impassioned rocker that taps into the uncertain times we live in–is impacting radio now. The song was #1 Most Added at Modern Rock radio and is in rotation at key stations including: KROQ (Los Angeles), WXRK (K-ROCK New York), KPNT (St. Louis) and WFNX (Boston), among others.
The Australian trio–who’ve built a reputation for their fiery live performances–recorded MODERN ARTillery in Los Angeles with producer Mark Trombino (Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World). The album and single are receiving early praise from the media. In a recent five-star CD review, Alternative Press described the album as “wonderfully combustible” (January 2004). Elsewhere, Billboard praised “Who’s Gonna Save Us?” by noting: “The punky Australian trio is clearly at its most inspired when it comes to stomping, scream-along vocals, and ‘Gonna Save’ doesn’t disappoint. The rollicking, politically tinged track is crisp and on-point in its full-throttle production…” (January 31, 2004).
