ALBUM RELEASE SHOW AT SAN FRANCISCO’S CAFÉ DU NORD
CONFIRMED FOR JULY 17
FOLLOWING THE RELEASE OF ‘BEARS & BULLS’ JULY 6

Unfortunately, due to an emergency appendectomy of one of THE STONE FOXES members, the band is forced to cancel all of their June 2010 performances. These include dates at San Diego Oysterfest, Lucky’s Club Cigar store in Eugene, Seattle shows at the Rock n’ Roll Seattle Marathon and The Showbox SoDo Lounge, as well as Dante’s in Portland.

“We are expecting a full and speedy recovery and hope to reschedule all of the cancelled dates at the next possible opportunity. We are sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your continued support,” states the band from a recent post on their website. “Our album release show is still scheduled for July 17th at Café du Nord in San Francisco, CA. Find more details on this show at: http://tinyurl.com/foxes-albumrelease. Thanks again for your understanding, we’ll see you back out on the road soon.”

Meanwhile, several band members will travel to Los Angeles for press and an industry-only album playback at Swing House on Monday, June 21. THE STONE FOXES do plan on getting back on the road later this summer in support of their July 6 release BEARS & BULLS, of which SFGate.com’s local music columnist Tony DuShane wrote: "Bears and Bulls, their latest release, rules…Catchy songs like ‘Young Man’ and ‘Patience’ will have you playin' air guitar in front of your mirror. Then they break it down to a very bluesy song ‘Easy,’ with so much emotion behind the arrangement and singing that it may provoke a tear."
