TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS
SET SPRING CONCERT TREK
TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS have announced they will head out on a 15-date tour May 9-June 2. Kicking off in Corvallis, Oregon, the trek will take PETTY and his bandmates–MIKE CAMPBELL (guitars), HOWIE EPSTEIN(bass, vocals) and BENMONT TENCH (keyboards) with longtime associates SCOTT THURSTON (guitars, harmonica) and drummer STEVE FERRONE–through cities in the Western United States, Southwest and the Pacific Coast. The Wallflowers will open shows through May 21 in Dallas, to be replaced by another act (TBA) for the remainder of the tour.
This quick outing of mostly outdoor amphitheaters represents the band’s first dates since their hugely successful and critically acclaimed 1999 Echo tour, which climaxed with a sold-out show at the Hollywood Bowl.
