Leading up to the October 22 release of his LITTLE BLACK BOOK (Moda Black/Ultra Music)—part album, part mix compilation, part remix package, part crate-digging expedition—UK producer HOT SINCE 82 has now made available “Shadows.” The song is a solid house number topped with vocals from London-based singer/songwriter Alex Mills.

HOT SINCE 82 aka Daley Padley is behind some of the biggest releases on U.K. label Moda Black. Hailing from Leeds, he’s a dynamic talent whose constantly evolving sound has gathered high profile support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Pete Tong and Seth Troxler. In the past 12 months he has taken the dance floor experience to another level with his remixes of Green Velvet’s “Bigger Than Prince” (which hit #1 on Beatport) and Shadow Child’s “So High.” Both appear on LITTLE BLACK BOOK along with “Shadows” and other original productions.
Meanwhile, HOT SINCE 82 is now in the midst of his 13-date North American tour which launched yesterday in New York City. This marks his first-ever tour of the continent’s hottest clubs including Output in Brooklyn, NY, Spybar in Chicago and Sound in Los Angeles.
