VOODOO EXPERIENCE
ANNOUNCES EARLY HALLOWEEN TREAT
FOR CONCERT-GOERS:
SPECIALLY PRICED PRE-SALE TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW,
ALL 2009 TICKET PRICES TO BE FREE OF SURCHARGES;
ANNUAL FALL EVENT SET FOR
HALLOWEEN WEEKEND
OCTOBER 30, 31 AND NOVEMBER 1
IN NEW ORLEANS’ CITY PARK
For the upcoming VOODOO EXPERIENCE, the third to coincide exactly with the Halloween weekend (Friday, October 30, Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1), concertgoers are being offered an early treat: three-day weekend passes for $103.00 and three-day weekend LOA Lounge VIP passes for $336.00.
Beyond the fan friendly ticket price, festival producers will also absorb all ticket surcharges saving attendees approximately 15% on each purchase. This comprehensive ticket price applies not only on these pre-sale tickets, but to ALL tickets sold for this year’s VOODOO EXPERIENCE.
“When people buy tickets, they see one price and end up paying a completely different one,” says VOODOO EXPERIENCE founder and producer Stephen Rehage. “We decided to absorb those fees ourselves so that fans pay exactly what’s advertised. We want the Voodoo audience to focus more on what they’ll see and hear over Halloween weekend.”
The 11th annual VOODOO EXPERIENCE will once again celebrate music, as well as New Orleans’ bohemian culture, arts and cuisine. More than 160 bands will perform in three distinct performance areas–Le Ritual, Le Flambeau and Le Carnival–and eight stages each highlight a unique side of the personality of New Orleans. News re this year’s line-up will be revealed in the coming months.
Tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster.com (www.ticketmaster.com) and the www.thevoodooexperience.com. More information about this year’s VOODOO EXPERIENCE can also be found at www.thevoodooexperience.com. Current VOODOO EXPERIENCE partners include: Miller Lite, F.Y.E. (for your entertainment) music stores, Southern Comfort and the Marriott of New Orleans.
