VOODOO MUSIC EXPERIENCE STAFF
SEND THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS
TO THE PEOPLE OF NEW ORLEANS
AND EVERYONE IN THE GULF COAST REGION
AFFECTED BY HURRICANE KATRINA
The entire staff for the VOODOO MUSIC EXPERIENCE are sending their thoughts and prayers to the people of New Orleans, the hallowed city that has served as a home to the festival for the last six years. At this devastating and trying time across the southeast, organizers for the two-day event (set for Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30) are awaiting guidance from city and state officials, as New Orleans faces an extensive rebuilding process. Stephen Rehage–founder and independent producer of the annual Voodoo Music Experience–says, "Our hearts go out to everyone in our hometown of New Orleans and across the region who have been impacted by the devastation of Katrina." Stay tuned for further updates and visit www.voodoomusicfest.com for information as it develops.
